His performative impulse comes from the hardcore and punk register, with no aspiration to be polished or pleasing.

Because of the rage on which his performances are largely founded, and his choice of the most diverse themes from local everyday life, the audience has rightly dubbed him the Bosnian Psycho.

Avdić is the very opposite of everything familiar and, as such, an authentic artistic phenomenon of contemporary Bosnian-Herzegovinian culture.

If they were to be visualized, Avdić's musical creations would sound like an impenetrable thicket.

The spoken verses are weighed down by heavy words and cutting turns of phrase that spare no one.

The artist seems to slice through an entrenched space that has long gone unaired, thereby raising the level of audience engagement to an entirely new plane.
